The visit to Iceland was amazing! Our guide was, exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. We will always be especially thankful for his efforts to help us with finding appropriate food since our daughter has severe food allergies.We would definitely use the same company again. I highly recommend this travel company.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Visiting the active volcano, crossing rivers in a car and driving through a sand storm.

All aspects of our trip were outstanding.

We had originally planned to travel in 2020, but that became impossible due to COVID. When we had to cancel only days from our expected departure, the travel agency cheerfully and promptly refunded our payment.

Our 13-day trip in July 2021 took us to all parts of Iceland. All the arrangements, including vehicle, hotel, and excursions, worked perfectly, and whenever we had questions, our travel agent responded promptly. Our agent designed the itinerary with just broad outlines of guidance from me. It was about the right level of activity: plenty to do each day without being overscheduled. His recommendations of what to see and do were generally spot on. All the accommodations were top-notch. We traveled in some relatively remote areas, such as the Westfjords, and the small hotels and inns he chose were very comfortable and had a friendly and accommodating staff, without exception.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Highlights included:

• Meeting the friendly and interesting people of Iceland

• The wonderful food, fish and lamb especially

• Vista upon beautiful vista, everyday and everywhere!

• The varied topography...from sparse lava fields to lush nature preserves

• Great hikes to see fantastic waterfalls

• Seeing a humpback whale on our whale-watching excursion in the North

• Learning the history of Iceland from the Settlement until today, and understanding the challenges and privations of its populace

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I might have extended the trip by a day or two to get a better fee for the Highlands in the interior of the country

Overall, our trip to Iceland was amazing!

Everything we had planned worked out flawlessly, and the entire group had a great time. We were extremely pleased with the service from the travel company, both during the planning process, but also during the trip, including significant flexibility to accommodate the needs of our group including five children.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Too many to name, but some of the highlights include our glacier hike, Jeep adventure and hike in the Valley of Thor, several other amazing hike's to see incredible waterfalls, canyons, and volcanos, the Blue Lagoon, whale watching, and our private boat and bike tours.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Honestly not too much, but perhaps we would opt for some smaller, more private hotels in a couple of locations. But overall there were really no major complaints the entire trip.
