I couldn’t have been more pleased with the travel company, with the owner (and our guide) and the trip he created for us. All the places he picked were wonderful, the accommodations were charming and very comfortable and the pace just right for our group of 3.

We appreciated the flexibility this provided to us, so that we could make slight changes depending on conditions and our desire to see particular things.

We couldn’t have had a better guide than the owner. He was knowledgeable, competent, patient and fun. And one of the women i our group fell and broke her arm, he was absolutely wonderful in getting her first rate medical care and taking care of her, and all of us as a group.

We will definitely recommend the owner, his company and Zicasso to our friends and colleagues.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The beautiful and incredible scenery of Iceland. The glaciers and ice caves and black beaches. And most of all, the magnificent northern lights that we saw.

We spent an outstanding week in Iceland with the owner of our Iceland Tour Company. It was a private trip for 5 family members. He planned the trip and was our guide and driver.

We had to reschedule the trip twice due to the Covid pandemic, but our travel planner handled all the rescheduling for us (including the Covid tests required to return to the USA).

Our travel planner is a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide; he is also a genuinely nice guy.

He created a wonderful itinerary for us.

We went in May. The weather was in the 40s during the day and 30s at night. It was very pleasant as we dressed appropriately in layers.

Iceland had recently reopened to vaccinated tourists. The number of tourists was very low, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

1. Erupting volcano - this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

2. Ice Cave

3. Diamond Beach and Black Sand Beach

4. Hiking on Glacier and Zodiac boat ride on Glacial Lagoon

5. Whale Watching - we saw Humpback and Minke Whales and Dolphins

6. Geothermal springs

7. Waterfalls

8. The Icelandic cuisine

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Nothing. It was perfect.
